Juntos en harmonia

Description: “Together in harmony” is a work inspired by outer space and the union between people. Each star represents a person, moving freely in space at its own pace and direction, taking up minimal space. But when they join together in a synchronized dance, their presence shines clearly in the night.

Technical, aesthetic and conceptual development

Technical: The technical development of the work is achieved through an array of 100 stars that move randomly on the WEBGL canvas while audio is constantly repeated. Through the activation of an event the audio changes to a new one and the stars will move together, following the mouse until the event is deactivated, where they resume their random movement on the canvas. Aesthetic: The greatest inspiration of my work is outer space and the stars, with my work I want to show these elements as a metaphor for us and our surroundings, how we can feel insignificant in the world but that our united efforts allow us to reach great goals. Conceptual: At a conceptual level the work seeks to push the message of unity and community between people, that we are not alone in the world no matter how far we are from each other and that by coming together and working together we are stronger.
