Una mirada diferente

Artist: Lee Amado

We could take advantage of the different possibilities that the passage of time offers us depending on our experience and thinking. Sometimes we go forward with a way of being that we believe is appropriate, then we change our mind and take a turn believing that there is another more correct option or we behave differently due to a particular situation.

The way we see things, the meaning we try to give it varies too much compared to another person, our experiences, emotions, character and much more influence, all that experience acquired over time is transformed in a moment; Regardless of whether we have the same perspective, we see different things.

We do not understand people simply by observing them for a moment, we must listen to them, pay real attention to them and interact as long as possible; Something similar happens with this work, it would not be the same without his speech, it would be missing important parts. Everything is connected, they shouldn’t be separated, it wouldn’t hold together.

Technical, aesthetic and conceptual development

In the same way that the work is one with the speech, we are one with the music we listen to, the dance or the interpretation of a role (performance), even the code itself is one with the execution; As Inke Arns mentions “what he says is the same as what he does”, he does not describe, he reproduces-executes.

If we take into account the color palette, it causes us different sensations, instant memories or thoughts that make us understand in one way or another what we are perceiving; There are also cases where we think we feel neutral… spectacular. Is it possible not to feel anything? Or something as simple as not feeling anything is the most aggressive form of the feeling, indifference.

Sharing a point of view of something that can have many ways of seeing becomes essential when we understand that each look implies that our body reacts in unpredictable ways to a combination of lights, shapes and movement.

Finding colors different from those that are usual in my process, encouraging myself to experiment with other palettes is sometimes more difficult than it seems; even more complicated than understanding a tide, an earthquake, or the process of building collapse and construction, even though everything happens at the same time everywhere.

The focus of attention can be diverted, even though we are told otherwise, that it should not. The idea of staying focused would be easier for us if everything were static, if time stopped and our lives were not so chaotic. We do not always see the horizon, our compass sometimes points to unknown paths, these are moments that seem to have no meaning, in the same way we continue looking for a suitable exit or direction so as not to get lost in absolute loneliness.
