Enmascaramiento primario.
Does an image define me when you see me? Most days I could say that when I take off my dress, I look a little gray. Maybe we all perceive ourselves in one way, and maybe they see us in another, and maybe I am a small part of what others notice, plus my perspective and what I still don’t know about myself; but ultimately if everything that happens makes me change, then my own perspective and that of others has no permanence. I am a whole at every moment and I rebuild my character.
I almost always get lost in a world that I don’t believe is mine, there I add colors, like a disguise, to be able to stay. We choose among so many things, what to show to the other and what not, like several layers of different nuances, although we are as transparent as possible, we always let people notice what we consider best to please them in some way; but to what end? seek acceptance? or not seem so different? Let’s better look inside, they say that there is the true essence.
Technical, aesthetic and conceptual development
This composition creates an experience that combines visual and sound elements in a synchronized and progressive way. The code uses interaction to create a rhythmic, dynamic and synesthetic experience. The minimalist yet structured design allows ideas of color, movement and sound to be explored intuitively, while involving the user in the creative process.
The notion of code performativity, which Inke Arns talks about with respect to software art, is taken from concepts of speech acts.
As beings who live in society, we communicate. We create different systems to understand each other, since we all do not speak the same language. But the goal is the same: to express ourselves; with words, sounds, and images, the latter also communicate and often say more than a thousand words.
Our demonstrations always modify the environment in some way. When the author refers to software art, she not only talks about the technical, she also does so with respect to the social repercussions it achieves. The code says, it modifies reality and history.
When working with code, we introduce words, which, within a logic, generates certain operations within a program; This gives them form, to communicate them as images and interactions, these are transformed into an artistic product, which in this case is expressed from novelty. This is a language that is current in our time, and although its origins date back to several previous decades, it becomes necessary for the future.
