Yuxtaposición en continuo desorden ordenado
In this work I want to represent what we go through to create a work, the state of stillness and continuous movement for the creation of what could become a “work” with everything that being one entails at this moment… I started by putting together a background with a color related to something in the body, blood. That which runs through our veins. Thousands and thousands of particles constantly moving, vibrating. How is it possible that we can be so many movements at the same time? We are a continually assembled and disassembled collage that moves through its same parts. We are abstract beings in terms of matter, since we are thousands of disordered particles inside a container of meat juxtaposed by the time that blurs us.
Technical, aesthetic and conceptual development
It is based on this reflection that I begin this work. You can observe 3 spheres as 3 centers of particles being constantly crossed by the same movement and the vision of this plane with a single almost triangular face in the middle that would represent the container of the body wanting to move together with these central particles.
The music that plays in the background if you press the space bar is an improvisation that I made while watching the work, a synthesizer and a pad play with my voice in the background making melodies that emerged based on what I was seeing and hearing I think that a disturbing sound of tension was generated and at the same time a little peace within the melody of the voice necessary for the work to make it more complete from the senses.
All the elements of the scene have lighting that by moving the mouse you can see how the direction of the light changes, it can be thought of as a kind of flashlight to observe each space of the work clearly. I quote “In any case it implies a space that surrounds man and through which he can move and develop.” by Marchan Simón-“Environments and recreational spaces”. Perhaps without that lighting in life we could not be moving in the work… I invite you to think, what would happen if the work were in total darkness? I think that sometimes for the intention of understanding a work of art it is believed that many elements and a lot of knowledge are needed but it is possible that a work of art can be something only by being what it is, like the light on objects existing by themselves within a great darkness.
In the geometric shape of the medium that would represent the body, there is a texture of an image of platelets, it is almost imperceptible, but there it is, constantly being part of the body. As it says here “Collage and the method of juxtaposition are relevant to the basic question that elevates 20th century art, the nature of reality, the nature of painting itself, and the methods by which creative thought is organized” by William C. Seitz-”The art of Assemblage” It occurred to me to add to the work something that has to do with nature itself, in this case the platelets that make up the element that keeps us alive, traveling through the body in constant movement: Blood. I invite you to explore the work, from a very intimate place with yourself, which is where it was created.
