Procesos
Brief description
My production seeks to integrate language (letters) as part of the work, I decided to use a 3D figure to generate depth, the pastel color transmits a bit of calm since the figure is continuously rotating on its axes, the decision of this movement is to resemble a dance, the black background in the work contrasts with the figure seeking a balance between the two.
Technical, Aesthetic and Conceptual Development
In the text “ARNS, Inke. (2005). The code as a performative speech act”, he expresses that the letters of the Hebrew alphabet are made of a special spiritual substance and that is why God could give them shape, weight, volume, which is why the letters do not simply fulfill a function of communicating but of transforming.
Generative art uses programmatic languages as a tool to materialize ideas through code, which is a set of letters and symbols. For generative art, the focus is on what is seen, but in software art, beauty is in “the black box”, we could relate the software processes with life, many of us focus on the results and if these are not satisfactory, we do not see the beauty in the process and I consider that we should integrate these points of Generative Art and Software Art, look for beauty in both since in any case The intention is to generate or reach some point and for me that is what life is about moving forward and experimenting to reach satisfactory results.
