Generador de Autos 2.0.7.0

Artist: Elián Exequiél Reinoso

Generator of various conceptual versions of a futuristic vehicle, conceptually giving a glimpse of the cobbling work that this contraption entails.

Technical, aesthetic and conceptual development Starting from Philip Galanter’s writing “between two fires”, I generate a conglomerate of “complex” code (a concept that the text develops) with a generative logic of variants of a vehicle style inspired by Syd Mead’s work as a conceptual artist for Blade Runner (1982), in which his concept of a futuristic ship is based on simple geometric figures. I use Inke Arms’ “code as a performative speech act” to decorate by visually materializing part of the code. and some points discussed in “Environments and Playful Spaces” by Marchán Fiz I use to generate an atmosphere (environment) that further introduces the viewer into the work.

I propose creating a duality between a development environment aesthetic and a textured one, giving the user the possibility of jumping between these two worlds that are ultimately the same, just with different ways of expressing it.

The greatest purpose of this work is the playful dynamic of touching buttons, seeing colors and listening to sounds, within an alignment of objects that give a meaningful plane to those stimuli.
