Dualidad Hipnótica
Below I present this work of art that is titled Hypnoptic Duality, a work that immerses us in these two opposite poles characterized by the color black and white and its circular geometric shapes, given the movement and transitions we can see a certain visual hypnosis.
Thus, black and white can generate many sensations, for example, it is sometimes used in films with artistic intentions to connote nostalgia or a certain environment, representing past and historical events. Finally, it is also used in figurative and abstract art, the latter being linked to the proposed work.
Technical, aesthetic and conceptual development
The Hypnotic Duality, configured by its circular geometric shapes in an abstract way that, reflected by the transitions of its black and white shapes, generate hypnotic visual movements for the viewer. This work has a lot of influence on the artists Herbert W. Franke, Ben F. Laposky and Julio Le parc Lumiere, also references of visual art that makes use of optical illusions known as Op Art. Finally he added the references of the mandatory reading text designated by the BREA chair, José Luis. (2002). “Brief (and messy) antiglossary – or dictionary of topics – on electronic art” in The Postmedia Era. Communicative action, and the text of SIMÓ MULET, Toni. (2004). The visual languages of modernity: collage, assem blage and montage. Murcia: Institutional Repository of the University of Murcia. Extracting from collage the idea of superposition of layers and the abstraction of its geometric shapes shown in the proposed work, and from electronic art as computer art, which in its possibilities can be projected on different multimedia platforms such as screens, open spaces projected so that the user can contemplate the work.
