Puesta de sol
It is a work whose purpose is to portray a natural event in a digital and minimalist way. It is made up of two parts: the horizon line, which is drawn in the first part of the work and the entire sun, which is drawn little by little after the horizon.
Technical, aesthetic and conceptual development
This work is inspired by the work of Ben F. Laposky and Herbert W. Franke, and in the text “The Conquest of Ubiquity” by Paul Valery, more precisely in the fragment that quotes “A sun that sets in the Pacific or a Titian that is in Madrid does not yet come to be painted on the wall of our room with the same force and verisimilitude with which we receive a symphony.” It was born from experimentation with the values of the variables that allow movement within the canvas. The search is focused on achieving simplicity in both the image and the code.
