El Desorientador
In this work, the center is very important, since all the points or areas on the edge of the image are at the same distance from that point, which is why it draws the eye towards it. Inspired by the reality that everyone who observes it can have different points of view regarding any adverse situation in their daily life.
Technical, aesthetic and conceptual development
To quote Aristotle, reality is the form in which “true existence” manifests itself. Reality is one: matter and form. …Reality is what it is and exists. And how it plays with the mind of each person who observes it, the distortion of their reality.
Based on SIMÓ MULET and his book “The visual languages of modernity collage, assemblage and montage” The characteristics of my project are of diverse origin, but could be schematized in the following features: visual abstraction, flattening of the image, spatial-temporal disorientation, and participation of the three-dimensional real.
The circular characteristic of “The Disorientator” formulates a new representative vision, that of the introduction of everyday reality into the imaginary, the fragmentation of reality.
And guided by BÜRGER, Peter. (1974) in his book. “The avant-garde work of art” can refer to the fact that the concept of the work can be a trend of modernity and in turn can be questioned or systematically destroyed.
