Artist: Ángeles Van Rafelghem

The work contains some images of the performance “Destruction of the Head” by Günter Brus (1966) and a fragment of a recording by Otto Muehl, “Akt Natur” (Psycho Motorik, 1971), which talks about sexuality. Both were references of the artistic movement, Viennese Actionism, of the 60s. The images are superimposed on each other, vibrating uncontrollably on a black background that changes from black to white constantly, which gives an effect of instability, as if something was about to explode. As for the code, there is a series of variables and vectors (arrays), a constructor that was used to make moving bubbles, which were replaced by Brus images, preserving said movement.
