Arcade
“Arcade” is a work that tries to revive the nostalgia of retro video games that were played a while ago. Years ago, on a cell phone the only game you could find was a very basic “Snake” but that could consume a lot of time in your day. On the other hand, “Tetris”, a Nintendo classic, a game that continued to evolve with 3D designs and many other modes as well. Although the work does not seek its playability, but rather its representation through aesthetics, colors and sounds that make you travel to the video games of those times, it does contain different ways to interact with this work of art.
Instructions for use
To navigate within the work you must press the “1” or “2” key to choose the minigame and the “3” key to return to the main menu. In both, the arrows (UP-DOWN-LEFT-RIGHT) will be used to move the caterpillar, in the case of Snake and the block in Tetris. In video game number 1, pressing the space bar will allow you to rotate the figure. In the second video game you will have the possibility to reset it after losing by pressing the “R” key.
