Biography

My name is Camila Maibel Romero and I am 21 years old.

I started very young with classical dance, then intermittently I went through different urban dances and a little contemporary. I became passionate about theater and then comprehensive acting.

By my own decision I transferred to a school where I received a Bachelor’s degree in art, design and communication. There I became very interested in photography and film, I took several courses in both.

In between I briefly went through aerial acrobatics and got a little closer to the world of the circus. At the age of 16 I started studying piano at Empa, which I left for two years and returned to again last year.

Once I finished high school, robotics, mapping, vjing and installations began to catch my attention, as well as graphic and web design, among other things.

I was thinking of enrolling in UNA audiovisuals and then taking complementary courses for everything that interested me that the degree did not address because, as you will see, I am quite restless. Until I finally arrived at the multimedia arts degree which, without really knowing what it was about, addressed many things that I am still interested in studying and developing.
