LA VIDA DEL TIEMPO

In my work you can see the background covered with cut papers glued one on top of the other, overlapping each other, they have an old tone which gives it a symbolic meaning, also in the center there is a clock with Roman numerals also with an old, worn tone. From behind the clock appears a kind of needle formed by 3 small black circles that rotate clockwise at a somewhat fast speed, giving the clock more realism and also marking a circle on the outside of the clock as if surrounding it. In the background from the beginning of the work, an instrumental song (Drake - Hotline Bling) is heard that I thought accompanied my work very well and that is why I used it. When you press the space bar, 18 images appear that are different words cut out of a magazine or newspaper.

Biography

My name is Valentina Ferreira, I was born on July 19, 2001 in Luján, Buenos Aires. I have lived in the city of Pilar for as long as I can remember, but in 2010 until 2012 we moved with my family to Neuquén Capital due to my father’s work. And it was there that I began to delve deeper into art, specifically ceramics, drawing and painting; Since then, upon returning to Pilar, I continued creating and trying new things all the time, which is something that characterizes me and that is why I decided to enroll in Multimedia Arts at UNA to continue learning and studying new forms of art.
