Artist: Ailén Fallesen Huenchual

From rereading the texts “Conceptual Art and Conceptualism” by Camnitzer and “The Work Beyond the Object” by Heinich, I decided to create a concretist work, with a direct and clear concept, focused on the words.

“Click” talks about how new technologies and social networks help us and make it easier for us to make social changes; “With a single click…” we can make donations to humanitarian causes, gather thousands of people to protest against institutional injustices or raise awareness about social problems. These tools are no longer just for entertainment, they also make it easier for us to communicate our ideologies and be part of the change.
