Oniromancia Digital
Digital Oniromancy is a work that proposes hypothetical dream worlds typical of the digital era and media. Circular, enveloping and predictable sequences predominate in it, which encourage us to interpret what will happen next within the dreamlike development of the work, which can range from the calm of a nightmarish frenzy. The work in progress consists of different sequences of ‘dreams’ within the same program, although, so far, only one of these exists.
Instructions for use
Digital Oniromancy proposes a series of interactions with the user, some necessary for the program to be displayed completely and others possible in case the user decides to use them. The first interaction it offers is executed through the “ENTER” key, and after an introductory stage, the only dream sequence that exists in the work so far is displayed. Once this second instance has started, you have the possibility of using the left and right clicks of the mouse to play percussive audios and play to create rhythmic patterns. Another type of action is generated by moving the mouse along the X and Y axis, respectively, causing the speed and color of the central animation to vary according to this movement.
