Deconstrucción de Napoleon Cruzando los Alpes
“Deconstruction of Napoleon Crossing the Alps” is an interactive animation that initially presents the work “Napoleon Crossing the Alps” by Jacques-Louis David and then dismantles it starting from the oil painting strokes loaded with technical excellence, going through the simplification of its different shapes, lines, points and colors, reducing its elements and then removing them until reaching the void to present on it the constituent elements of the image by themselves, beyond any content theme or representation.

Biography
Mauro Angst (1999) was born in Leandro N. Alem, Misiones, a small and conservative town. At the age of 12, he left computer games aside to dedicate himself to making photomontages, which connected him with the world of photography, graphic design, animation, and image and video editing. He is part of a religious community with a very active role until he was 17 years old, where he had his first contacts with event setting, video-mapping and social photography. At the age of 16, his father dies, which unleashes a series of events that change his life: he puts aside his Christianity, accepts his homosexuality, moves out alone, begins to study arts and work as a social photographer and as a VJ at parties. Overwhelmed by the technicalities of the degree he was pursuing and in search of new horizons, he moved to Buenos Aires at the age of 19. He enrolls in film school but soon realizes that conventional narratives do not satisfy him, so the following year he begins to study Multimedia Arts. He currently works with musical artists, producers and record labels generating content for events and social networks.
