Biography
Sofía Aguirre Addy (b. 1993) is a visual artist who works with photography and video. Her analog photography works point to the unexpected in everyday life, the ordinary transformed into an object of observation.
Subsequently, in her digital works, the use of elements such as water and light is recurring as a medium to create abstract images and impossible worlds. She is interested in chance and polysemy, which find expression through the conjunctions between word and image.
Lives and works in Buenos Aires.
